Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday that terrorism will not be allowed to rise anywhere in the country.
He said this while meeting Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Prime Minister House Islamabad on Friday.
The Army Chief had reached the Prime Minister’s House to attend the high-level security meeting of the government.
However, before the summit, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had a one-on-one meeting at the Prime Minister’s House.
Both discussed the ongoing security situation across the country.
A changing situation in Swat and Dir valleys, where school children were injured after targeted attacks. After the attack, there were massive protests across the valley.
Later, a high-level security meeting was held with key security officials of the country. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over the meeting.
