ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday informed the Supreme Court of Pakistan that significant progress has been made during the talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) regarding the holding of joint elections.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said in a report that no agreement was reached on the date of dissolution of the National and Provincial Assemblies of Sindh and Balochistan and both sides agreed to resume negotiations on May 2 after receiving clearance from their respective leadership. .
