ISLAMABAD: After a while, another audio clip has surfaced, but this time of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and former Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari, the expensive gift given to the former Prime Minister by world leaders. Talk about selling wristwatches.

Imran Khan’s sale of gifts from his Tosha Khana has recently become a hot topic in Pakistani politics.

The most expensive of them all was an ornate Master Graph wristwatch that was gifted to the PTI chief when he was Prime Minister of Pakistan by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

However, it became the talk of the town after it fell into the hands of UAE-based businessman Umar Farooq Zahoor.

The Dubai-based millionaire businessman has said that he bought this precious watch after paying a whopping $2 million from Farah Gogi, a trusted family friend of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Bushra Bibi: Hello

Zulfi Bukhari: Salam Alaikum, ji

Bushra Bibi: Ji, Walaikum Salam How are you?

Zulfi: I’m fine murshid, how are you?

Bushra: Thanks to Allah, Alhamdulillah. There are some watches of Khan sahib. He asked me to send these to you and you will sell them because they are of no use to him.

Zulfi: Yes

Bushra: So, he wants you to deal with it

Zulfi: Yes, murshid. I will do it

PTI has contested Zahoor’s claim and argued that the watch was sold to “Art of Time”, a wristwatch retail business in Islamabad.

The sale receipt of the same special edition watch to “Art of Time” was submitted by the former Prime Minister himself before the Cabinet Division.

As soon as the audio leaked, “Art of Time” owner Mohammad Shafiq distanced himself from the controversy in a video statement.

“I have neither bought a watch nor have I anything to do with this whole thing,” Shafiq said in a video, adding that he was being propagandized — buying the watch. Connect with

“Neither is that my shop bill (receipt) nor is it my signature. That handwriting is not mine either. My business stamps and other things have been used illegally,” said Shafiq.

He added that he was hoping the matter would resolve itself — which is why he did not respond to any questions raised.

Shafiq warned that legal action would be taken [against the propagandists] if he was dragged into the matter.
